Highlands Regional Ministry Center Re-Dedicated
Saturday, October 2 was a great day of celebration at the Highlands Regional Ministry Center in Gainesville. The presbytery and local community re-dedicated what had been the property of Highlands Presbyterian Church into a regional ministry center which is now home to several nonprofit ministries.
The morning began with a heart-warming worship service which offered a blessing / dedication for each of the user groups which are part of the HRMC. The powerful liturgy included a hymn written and performed by the Rev. Charles Freeman, Make this God, a Place of Welcome. About 20 former members of Highlands Presbyterian Church were present to participate in the re-dedication festivities.
