Installation of Rusty Benton
The Presbytery of St. Augustine is pleased to announce the Installation of Rusty Benton. The installation will take place, at Community Presbyterian Church, on Sunday, September 22, at 5:00 p.m. The Youth of Community PC will give the message. All are invited to attend the installation with a reception to follow.
Rusty is serving as Pastor at Community Presbyterian Church.
I am blessed to be able to serve at Community Presbyterian Church, mainly, because this congregation continues to live into a sense of dedication to love and the pursuit of God — both individually and corporately. This is a community of faith that strives to be faithful. The multiple mission and outreach ministries reflect the heart of a caring people. The diversity of worship services reflects an enthusiasm for God that strives to be limitless. The dedication to overcome and grow reflects the hope and faith of a community who truly believes that God is the way, truth and life for us all.
As a minister in this congregation, I am inspired by those who I serve and serve alongside. By God’s grace, I live each day into this call knowing that I am surrounded by such a cloud of loving witness who seek to live as children of God. I am blessed to be on this journey with these good folks who continue to express the goodness of God in endless ways to the community and the world.
